As I am sure you know, the real estate industry has been going through a little turmoil lately (is that not an understatement?!) and that has implications for companies like mine that specialize in compiling lists of agents. Never in recent history has there been so much turnover among agents.

I am well aware that you have options when it comes to purchasing a real estate agent list.

So why should you buy from us? Let me give you 9 reasons:

1. #1 - First, and most important of course, I have the best lists. They are consistently the most up-to-date and comprehensive. Only we offer cell phone as well as multiple email addresses, license data, and HOME addresses. We split the agent's name into proper parts (first, middle, last, suffix) making it easier to personalize your bulk advertising (e.g. Dear John or Dear John Smith or Dear Mr. Smith). We CASS certify addresses which standardizes the format and virtually guarantees delivery by the US Postal Service.

3. #3 - We collect our data from original reliable sources; we don't simply acquire our data from other 3rd party collectors (or our competitors!). There is no national source for real estate agent lists (other than perhaps the NAR -- and they do not include agents who are not REALTORS -- who no longer publishes their list, except to members), therefore data must be aggregated from many regional public sources (local and state associations, state licensing agencies, and realty companies). This requires significant resources and technical expertise. I have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Statistics and a PhD in information systems. I am an expert in databases, web development and internet marketing and I apply all of that education and experience to the creation and marketing of my lists.

4. #4 - We have the best customer service.... you can reach us by phone (toll-free) or by email and we will do whatever it takes to make sure you are satisfied, including "no-questions-asked" prorated refunds if your list is not 95% accurate.

5. #5 - We have the best, most user-friendly, website -- is it really even a close call??? Who else offers a comprehensive free search engine and customized database tool?

6. #6 - We are transparent about who we are. We understand that buying lists on the internet is an iffy proposition for many and consumers are understandably skeptical. That is why we clearly state who we are and where we are. You can read about me and my background on the About Us page, including my direct phone number. If you look up our domain name in a WhoIs directory (e.g. www.domaintools.com), it will clearly show that I own the website and the company. If you do this with some of my so-called low-price competitors, you will see that they hide behind "privacy" registrations. It is almost impossible to find out who owns the website or the company behind the website. Do you really want to buy a list from an anonymous company? What are they hiding from?

7. #7 - We provide REAL testimonials from REAL customers on our testimonials page (contrary to some of our competitors) and we do not make extravagant claims about our lists (e.g. "8 out of 10 companies who market to real estate agents use our lists" Really!?).

8. #8 - Google ranks us #1!! Search Google for "realtor lists" or "real estate agent lists" and we are FIRST. You can also search on other similar terms such as "realtor email" or "real estate agent email" and we are also highly ranked. (NOTE: This ranking sometimes changes from time-to-time for mysterious reasons known only to Google but you will not find all of our competitors on the front page.) This is important because Google's entire business model was based on returning relevant results for user searches. Despite what some will tell you, there is no way to "trick" Google into giving you a high ranking. Neither can you pay them. The only way to achieve these rankings is by providing quality content over a long period of time. We are quite proud of this.

9. #9 - I am a Better Business Bureau accredited business with an "A" rating. Two so-called low price competitors, not surprisingly, have an F and D rating respectively: Data Depot, realestateagentlistdownload.com

I know there are other websites offering agent lists at lower-- sometimes much lower -- prices. Indeed, a new agent list website seems to pop-up every month. But I also know I have the best lists and that you get what you pay for. Sometimes, buying the list is the cheapest part of your marketing campaign. The other costs of executing your marketing plan may cost more but it ultimately depends on the quality of your list.
