What is a customized database? A customized database is a subset of our complete realtor database based on a selection criteria you specify. This allows you to purchase only those records you need and avoid the expense of purchasing the complete database. You can create, purchase, and download your customized database directly from the website. What are the selection options available? You can create a custom list based on state, county, city, zip code, area code, and major agency. You can also specify only records that contain a fax or email address, and you can even exclude certain email domains (such as AOL or Yahoo). What is the difference between a customized database and one of the standard complete databases? A customized database contains all the same fields as the complete master database it was selected from; it simply contains less rows than the complete database. What is the price of a customized database? The pricing algorithm for customized databases is designed to decrease the cost/record as you purchase more records -- smaller databases are more expensive on a cost/record basis, larger databases are less expensive. However, customized databases are always more expensive on a per record basis than the complete list which is discounted substantially. If your customized database is large, it may be more economical to simply purchase the complete list. What formats can customized databases be created in? After submitting your custom selections, the count and price will be displayed. You can then click on the format that you want to create your database in: Access, Excel CSV (Comma-Separated Values), and Tab-Delimited Text. After it is created (you can watch the progress indicator as it is created... it should only take a few moments), you can add it to your shopping cart and begin the checkout process. How long does it take to get the data once it is purchased? You can download your list immediately after you complete the purchase. There is a download link on the order confirmation page after your purchase is completed and we also send you an email with a link to download your database. I need a custom database that is unusual.
