What is the realtor database?

The realtor database is a collection of data about 1.3 million real estate agents. We also include a database of 289,805 realtor offices with full contact information and a realtor association list which includes all 1,485 realtor associations in the country with full contact information.

What is the difference between the complete realtor database and the realtor email-only database?

The realtor email only database includes ONLY the unique email addresses extracted from the complete realtor database. The file is simple text, with one email address per line. For your convenience, to allow you to segment your email campaigns, we also include two other versions of the realtor email database in Excel CSV format: 1) name, state, and email; 2) name, city, county, state, and email.

What if I only want a subset of the complete realtor database?

Use our Customized Realtor Database tool. The tool will provide the price and count for any customized database. You can then create, purchase, and download your customized database immediately from the website.

Where does the data come from?

The data is compiled from public sources -- associations, mls, agencies, state license data, etc. Over 200 sources to be exact.... and counting! All of our data comes from original sources. We do not use data from third parties whose sources we cannot confirm.

What guarantee do you give on the quality of the realtor database?

The data is guaranteed to be 95% accurate. If you receive "undeliverables" (bad address, phone, fax, or email) exceeding 5%, we will refund your purchase on a pro-rated basis.

What are the restrictions on the use of the realtor database?

The "terms of use" agreement always appears on the checkout page but can be summarized simply as follows: the purchaser is entitled to use the data repeatedly for marketing or internal purposes but cannot resell the data nor publish it so that non-customers can benefit from the data.

How do you monitor and enforce restrictions on the use of the databases?

Due to concerns about low-priced competitors misappropriating our data, we have populated ("seeded") our list with a small number of fictitious agents. The contact information for these agents redirects to us so we can verify that the sender is one of our legitimate customers.

How do you deliver the data once it is purchased?

The realtor database can be downloaded from the order confirmation page immediately after purchasing. You will also receive an email with download instructions if you wish to download later. The complete database can be downloaded in three formats: Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel CSV (split into individual state spreadsheets), or Tab Delimited Text (one large file for simple importing into a 3rd party database). Customized realtor databases can be created in Microsoft Access, Excel CSV, or Tab-Delimited Text. All files are compressed in a Zip format for faster downloading.

How often is the realtor database updated and do you provide discounts for updates?

We are continuously updating on a state-by-state basis. The release date for each state database is published on each state's page. Some states will therefore be more current than others. As we update individual states, we update the national list. We do provide significant discounts for updates to existing customers. The discount varies depending on the amount of new data in the update but all previous purchasers of the list will be notified by email when the new list is available.

Do you provide a free sample of the realtor database?

Yes, there are two ways you can sample the realtor database. First, you can use our realtor search engine to look up records. Second, you can download a free sample of up to 100 records. Additionally, you can also use our customized database tool to create, purchase, and download a smaller, less expensive list to test before purchasing a larger list. If you choose to purchase a larger list, of which the smaller list is a subset, we will give you a full-credit towards the puchase of the larger list.
