Ashley Manning became a dedicated member of the Southern Properties real estate team in 2014, bringing with her a wealth of experience from the hosiery and construction sectors. Her transition into real estate was driven by a desire for new challenges, and she possesses a level of determination that distinguishes her in the industry.

A lifelong resident of DeKalb County, Ashley grew up in Valley Head and graduated from Valley Head High School. She pursued higher education at Northeast Alabama Community College, where she earned a Paralegal Degree with a remarkable 4.0 GPA. Following this achievement, she continued her studies at Jacksonville State University, ultimately obtaining her Real Estate License.

Ashley, along with her husband Eddie and son Chance, proudly resides in Mentone. Her strong ties to the communities of Valley Head and Mentone have significantly contributed to her success in real estate, as she remains actively engaged in local initiatives.

Her pursuit of excellence is evident through her attainment of the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation, which underscores her commitment to providing high-quality professional services. Additionally, she holds the Certified New Home Specialist (CNHS) designation, reflecting her dedication to serving builders and new home buyers with the utmost professionalism. The Residential Construction Certified (RCC) designation further enhances her ability to assist clients interested in both new and existing homes.

In 2017, Ashley graduated from the North Alabama Leadership program and has held various leadership roles within the DeKalb County Association of Realtors (DCAR). She served as treasurer in 2018 and 2019, as Local Director in 2020 and 2021, and as Community Service Chair in 2021. Her contributions to the industry were recognized when she was named DeKalb County’s Realtor of the Year in 2021.
