Doug Shanefield, a Yale University alumnus with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, leverages his design and planning expertise in the real estate sector. With over 23 years of experience at Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties, he serves as Vice President and consistently ranks among the firm’s top producers. His accolades include being named Top Producer for the Coldwell Banker Honolulu Office in both November and May of 2017, as well as earning the prestigious International President’s Premier designation in 2016, which recognizes him as one of the top 1% of Coldwell Banker agents nationwide. Most recently, Doug held the position of Sales Manager for the highly acclaimed Waiea and Anaha ultra-luxury towers at Ward Village, a development by Howard Hughes. He also managed sales for the Cove Waikiki boutique building and the expansive 700-unit Moana Pacific, one of Honolulu's largest residential complexes. His prior experience includes roles on project teams for the Lanikea at Waikiki and Hawaiki Tower developments. Doug has earned the Luxury Property Specialist designation, reflecting his success in high-value property sales and specialized training. His primary focus is on connecting clients with a diverse range of properties, including homes, land, condominiums, oceanfront estates, multi-family investment buildings, fee-simple commercial properties, and new developments.
Before embarking on his real estate career, Doug served as a Japanese-English liaison for a sales company in Osaka, Japan, and worked alongside renowned architect Michael Graves in Princeton, New Jersey. This unique background has significantly enriched his approach to real estate.
