Heidi Hjorth, a lifelong resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, was born in San Francisco and spent a brief period living in Europe from 2001 to 2004. Her extensive experience in the Bay Area real estate market began in 1988 when she undertook her first renovation project, inspired by Suzanne Brangham's book, *Housewise*. In 1998, she and her husband relocated to southern Marin to raise their family, drawn by the community spirit, outdoor activities, and educational volunteer opportunities that the region offers.

Although Heidi began investing in real estate in 1988, she obtained her Realtor designation in 1992. Since then, she has dedicated herself to assisting buyers and sellers through various market cycles. Her hands-on experience managing her own investment and renovation projects has equipped her with a deep understanding of the effort required to achieve successful outcomes. This expertise is invaluable in guiding clients through the complexities of home buying and selling.

With over 20 years of experience in real estate, Heidi is well-versed in the ever-evolving landscape of the industry, including current trends in mortgages, title and tax issues, as well as construction and remodeling. She has cultivated a robust network of industry professionals, including lenders, attorneys, contractors, estate planners, stagers, and financial advisors, all of whom serve as essential resources for her clients.

Danish by heritage, Heidi is passionate about the outdoors, enjoying activities such as cycling and walking, as well as spending time with animals and children. She values homes that foster connections among family and friends. Heidi holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from San Francisco State University and is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), California Association of Realtors (CAR), and Marin Association of Realtors (MAR).
