John Shaw serves as the Broker and Owner of Susanville Real Estate, bringing over three decades of experience in the real estate sector. His leadership roles include two terms as President of the Lassen Association of Realtors and over 20 years as a Director on the Lassen County Association of Realtors. Additionally, he is actively involved with the Historic Uptown Susanville Association and the Diamond Mountain Men’s Club.

Recognized for his expertise, John has imparted knowledge in Real Estate Principles, Business Law, and Real Estate Finance through courses at Lassen Community College. His extensive background includes managing and selling Real Estate Owned (REO) properties since the 1980s, a specialization he has passed on to his team. Currently, REO listings and sales account for over 70% of the firm's business, with an increasing number of short sale listings emerging.

In addition to his sales expertise, John oversees a property management division, which has managed up to 250 properties simultaneously; the current portfolio includes 75 properties. His experience extends to commercial real estate, where he has facilitated numerous sales and leases and continues to work on various commercial projects.
