In 2000, Karla Trusler transitioned from a successful legal career to pursue her long-held passion for residential real estate. With nearly a decade of experience as a trial attorney, she brought exceptional negotiation skills and a comprehensive understanding of the market to her new role, quickly establishing herself as a leading real estate advisor in Dallas.

A native of Highland Park, Karla graduated from Highland Park High School before earning her BBA from Baylor University and her JD from Baylor Law School. She returned to Dallas to practice law and has held her Texas real estate license since 1988, becoming an active agent in early 2000. Her legal expertise enhances her effectiveness as an agent, characterized by her strong negotiation abilities, commitment to clear communication, and meticulous attention to detail.

Having spent most of her life in the Park Cities and Preston Hollow, Karla possesses extensive knowledge of these neighborhoods, as well as Bluffview, Lakewood, and North Dallas. In 2008, her husband, Alex Trusler, joined her as a partner, and together they blend meticulous attention to detail with a strategic, big-picture approach. In 2011, they aligned with Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, leveraging the firm’s global reach and personalized service to benefit their clients. Today, they are proud members of the Chairman’s Circle Platinum level at Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty.
