An active community member, they currently serve as the president of the Ludlow Rotary Club and hold board positions with the Little Ascutney Snowmobile Club. They have also served as past president of the Reading Friends and Neighbors Community Foundation, past president of the Reading Recreation Commission, and a former board member of the Okemo Community Challenge.

As a lifelong Vermonter, they reside in Reading with their wife and pets. They cherish time spent with their two adult sons and enjoy a range of outdoor activities that Vermont offers, including skiing, biking, boating, hiking, and snowmobiling.
