Lisa Wenzel established Wenzel Select Properties Ltd in 2004, drawing on her extensive experience as a Commercial Property Manager for several Fortune 500 investment firms. With over sixteen years in the commercial real estate sector, she has cultivated a deep understanding of the industry.

Before founding her company, Lisa began acquiring rental properties, discovering her passion for assisting families in finding their ideal homes. She has successfully guided numerous first-time homebuyers in their search for the perfect residence. Lisa takes pride in the fact that her business is predominantly generated through referrals from satisfied clients, reflecting her commitment to building lasting relationships.

Her primary focus is to provide personalized support throughout the entire real estate transaction process. Lisa leads a dedicated team of professionals who work closely with clients to identify properties that align with their unique lifestyles, whether they are buying, selling, or renting.

As a member of the MAINSTREET ORGANIZATION OF REALTORS®, Lisa has access to a comprehensive range of properties available in the Greater Chicagoland area through the Association’s Multiple Listing Service. In 2006, Lisa launched Wenzel Select Homes LLC, a boutique custom home building firm that specializes in high-end, architecturally distinctive designs. She has held her Illinois Real Estate license since 1990, obtained her Broker’s License in 2004, and earned her Managing Broker’s License in 2012. Additionally, Lisa holds several prestigious designations and certifications, including:

Lisa was recognized as one of Chicago Magazine’s “Five Star Professional Real Estate Agents” in its October 2015 issue, an accolade she has received consecutively from 2011 to 2014. This distinction is awarded to less than 1% of real estate agents in the area, underscoring her dedication to client satisfaction.

Active in her community, Lisa serves as the Chairman of Chamber630’s “Chamber First” referral group, is a member of the Ambassadors Committee, and is currently in her second consecutive three-year term on the Chamber630 Board of Directors. She is also an engaged Executive Partner within the Chamber.

In June 2014, Lisa joined the Board of Directors for the Indian Boundary YMCA and has volunteered with The Little Friends Auction Committee to support children with autism. Additionally, as a former chairperson of the City of Hope’s Real Estate Action Committee (REACH), she contributed to fundraising efforts for pediatric cancer research for over a decade.

Having resided in the Western Suburbs for over thirty years, Lisa and her husband plan to remain in the Downers Grove area for the foreseeable future.
