From a young age, the beach has held a special place in her heart. Each summer, the anticipation of visiting the shore was a highlight, with family vacations spent at the then-new Emerald Beach, where they enjoyed an open-concept space, albeit without air conditioning and a considerable distance from the water. Growing up in Dallas, the slower pace of beach life was a refreshing change.

Upon meeting her husband, Gary, she introduced him to Crystal Beach, sparking their dream of making it their permanent residence. In 1994, they purchased their first home, aptly named “DreamCatcher,” symbolizing their aspiration to relocate full-time. In August 2003, that dream became a reality as they officially made Crystal Beach their home.
