Married to Dawn for twenty-six years, he is the proud father of three daughters: Meredith (who is married to Justin), Alyssa (married to Joseph), and Blair. The family is closely bonded, actively participating in their church and cherishing vacations together at the beaches and mountains of the Carolinas.

His real estate journey commenced in 1999 with Prudential Carolinas Realty, following a twelve-year tenure at Office Environments Inc. Early in his career, he distinguished himself as a Relocation Specialist, assisting families relocating to Charlotte for prominent companies such as TIAA-CREF, Wachovia, VISA, IBM, Keebler, Piedmont Natural Gas, Duke Energy, Bank of America, CTC Communications, and Corning. These initial experiences laid the groundwork for a thriving real estate career, leading to ongoing referrals from satisfied clients.

After six successful years with Prudential, he transitioned to RE/MAX Signature Properties, where he benefited from the mentorship of a highly regarded broker in the area. He also became a member of the national Star Power Network, gaining insights from top-producing Realtors. His commitment to professional development led him to earn the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designations from the National Association of Realtors.

In 2008, he joined RE/MAX Executive Realty, the largest RE/MAX franchise in the Carolinas, where he continued to expand his expertise. In 2009, he obtained the Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) designation to better assist clients with short sales and foreclosures. Later that year, he founded Charlotte Select Properties LLC, where he serves as Broker/Owner. This full-service real estate firm specializes in residential sales and marketing, offering personalized service, cutting-edge internet marketing, and a commitment to client needs.

His success in a challenging industry is attributed to his dedication to lifelong learning, attentive listening, and providing valuable, straightforward advice that yields results. He holds licenses in both North and South Carolina and is a Broker in Charge at Charlotte Select Properties LLC.
