In the early 1980s, Vicky and her husband Mike discovered Leelanau County during a visit to Traverse City, where a delightful summer day spent boating on West Grand Traverse Bay captured their hearts. This experience prompted them to make a significant life choice: they left their established careers in Ann Arbor and relocated their young family of four to Suttons Bay, all without securing new employment. This bold decision has proven to be one they cherish.
Vicky, a graduate of the University of Michigan, has dedicated over 25 years to the real estate industry, working with several national brokerages in Ann Arbor, Traverse City, and Suttons Bay. In 2006, she founded her own brokerage, Oltersdorf Realty. In 2003, her son Jonathan became a licensed real estate agent. After earning a marketing degree from Michigan State University, he joined the family business full-time in 2007, further solidifying Oltersdorf Realty as a local family enterprise.
