Cathy Spencer brings over three decades of extensive experience in the real estate industry. She commenced her career as an agent in 1979, quickly establishing herself as a leading performer within her office for the subsequent decade. During this period, she took on a mentorship role, guiding new agents as they navigated their initial transactions and embarked on their own successful careers.

In 1989, recognizing her talent for developing others, Cathy was appointed branch manager at Coldwell Banker. Under her leadership, a previously unprofitable branch transformed into a thriving operation within 18 months. By 1993, she launched a new branch for Mason McDuffie, building it from the ground up and positioning it as a significant competitor in the market. This branch later transitioned to Prudential California Realty, allowing Cathy to engage with advanced training and mentoring programs that enhanced the resources available to both the company and its agents.

Cathy’s passion for agent development flourished during her tenure at Prudential, where she became the Director of Training in 1999. She played a pivotal role in creating innovative training programs tailored to agents at all stages of their careers. In 2002, she seized the opportunity to design a groundbreaking training initiative for new agents at RE/MAX California Hawaii, which became the first of its kind within the organization. This comprehensive curriculum included mentoring and support aimed at accelerating new agents' production and integrating them into a high-performing environment.

Continuously refining her programs, Cathy has also developed strategies to assist experienced agents in overcoming business challenges and elevating their performance. Her expertise extends to training members of the Bay East Association of Realtors and collaborating with various regional real estate firms. With 32 years of hands-on experience, Cathy is exceptionally equipped to empower agents to thrive in any market condition.
