A licensed real estate professional since 1988, Cheri became a broker in 1993. Her leadership roles include chairing the local MLS in 1995 and serving as president of the Coastal Mendocino Association of Realtors (CMAR) in 1996. Additionally, she has contributed over 15 years to the local historical cemetery board.

On a personal note, Cheri married her husband Peter in 2016, and they reside in his family home, built in 1875, located in Mendocino Village. Cheri enjoys cultivating a large organic garden and preserving her harvest. She takes pride in the lasting friendships she has formed with many of her clients, a testament to the trust and rapport she builds throughout her professional relationships.
