By 1979, Herbert transitioned into real estate, obtaining a license and embarking on a successful career in sales. In 1987, they became a partner at RE/MAX Monterey Peninsula, where they led the business for two decades, serving the last ten years as Broker and President.

In late 2007, Herbert merged their operations with Keller Williams Realty Carmel, a rapidly expanding local real estate firm. Their extensive experience as a Sales Representative, Broker, and now Team Leader of a dedicated real estate marketing group positions them uniquely to assist clients in building and preserving wealth through property ownership.
