Originally from Belize, Joel grew up in California, where he pursued his education at Oxnard College, California State University, Los Angeles, and California State University, Fullerton, earning degrees in Business Administration, Accounting, and Finance. He is happily married to his wife, Sonja, and is the proud father of two daughters, Eboni and Alexis.
