Before embarking on her real estate career, she owned a gas station and managed a golf course with a restaurant.

Kathy resides in Sonoma County with her husband, two sons, and three grandchildren. She also owns a log cabin on two acres near Mt. Lassen in Shasta County. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exploring, fishing, hiking, and spending quality time with her husband and their rescue dog, Ronnie.
