Born in Santa Monica and raised in Brentwood, they attended high school in Pacific Palisades and pursued higher education at Pepperdine University in Malibu, ultimately earning a degree in art history with a focus on architecture from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

For most of their adult life, they have resided and worked in Santa Monica, a community they hold dear. Over the past seven years, they have had the honor of raising their niece, who is now pursuing her studies at San Diego State University.
