About Maria Wrede

Maria believes that successful real estate transactions come about as a result of clear communication understanding and trust between client and agent She recognizes that no two customers are the same

How does she establish such relationships By listening paying attention to her clients’ wants and wishes and employing one of her strongest virtues: Her passion for the business

Maria and Sellers

Understanding that most buyers start their research online Maria positions all her clients’ listings online for maximum exposure It’s not enough to add a sign outside add the property to the MLS and wait Maria uses multiple methods of online advertising for her listings as well as the reach and clout of the Sotheby’s system and the strength of the Russ Lyon team working together to market her listings

You can expect regular updates on your home’s marketing and showings as well as a clear and refreshing honesty about what your expectations should be and/or changes that might help

Maria and Buyers

Maria thrives on helping buyers find homes that will bring them long-term happiness So while others might push buyers to make a choice so they can move on the next client Maria urges them to think it through before making a decision She’s also willing to discourage a choice if she sees trouble ahead Years of experience working and living in Paradise Valley and Scottsdale gives her knowledge about issues that could affect her clients’ welfare in the future – and she gladly points these out along with the other reasons why a home would or would not work to fulfill their dreams

Maria sees this cautionary care and lack of pressure as the right way to treat clients Her clients see it as extraordinary

Maria Has Inside Experience at Relocation – Sotheby’s Has Global Services

Maria is also a valuable source of advice for buyers who are relocating – nationally and internationally – because she can advise them from real life experience Maria was born and educated in Finland and speaks Swedish Finnish and French She has lived in Helsinki New York London and Houston and moved to the U S – twice

Maria has lived in the area since 1997 with the exception of a one-year relocation back to London She originally built a new home in Paradise Valley and upon her return from London moved to Scottsdale

Broad Real Estate Experience

Before moving to the U S in 1982 Maria worked in the Chemical Industry in Finland She moved to the U S and began a long and successful career in the Energy/Oil industry This included her first exposure to commercial real estate Her marriage led to the move to Paradise Valley where she switched careers to retailing and then to real estate sales because she wanted to work with individuals and families and not just corporate issues

Real estate sales has proven to be the right choice for Maria who was a marketing major and graduated from one of Finland’s top business schools Her interest in architecture and design led to her to post-graduate studies at the Parson’s School of Design in New York long before she found how her skills in this area and her business like approach to real estate would be of tremendous value to her clients

Life Outside Real Estate

Maria currently lives on a small ranch in Scottsdale where she enjoys riding her horses and playing with her dogs She loves skiing fly-fishing and gets in a round of golf when she can

Maricopa County stands as Arizona's economic powerhouse and the fourth-largest county in the United States by population, creating one of the nation's most dynamic real estate markets. Home to Phoenix, Scottsdale, and numerous rapidly growing suburbs, this sprawling desert metropolis has transformed from a retirement destination into a thriving hub for technology companies, manufacturing, and young professionals seeking affordable alternatives to California's expensive coastal markets.

The county's real estate landscape reflects this dramatic growth, supported by an impressive network of 38,325 actively licensed agents—all of whom maintain current email contact information. This robust agent population serves a market characterized by diverse housing options, from luxury desert estates in Scottsdale to affordable starter homes in emerging communities like Surprise and Goodyear, creating opportunities across every price segment and buyer demographic.

Major Maricopa County, Arizona Real Estate Markets

Phoenix anchors the region as the fifth-largest city in America, with distinct neighborhoods like Central Phoenix experiencing urban revitalization while established areas like Ahwatukee maintain their suburban appeal. Scottsdale commands premium prices with its resort-style living and proximity to world-class golf courses, while Tempe benefits from Arizona State University's presence, driving consistent rental demand. Mesa, often overlooked despite being larger than Atlanta or Miami, offers exceptional value for families and has become a hotspot for California transplants.

The West Valley communities of Glendale, Peoria, and Avondale have emerged as major growth centers, attracting young families with new construction and master-planned communities. Meanwhile, the Southeast Valley cities of Chandler and Gilbert have evolved into technology corridors, with major employers like Intel and Microchip creating sustained housing demand. These diverse markets each require specialized knowledge, making local agent expertise invaluable for successful transactions.

Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

Maricopa County's real estate market operates across multiple distinct climate zones and development patterns, from dense urban infill projects in downtown Phoenix to sprawling estate lots in Desert Mountain. The region's rapid population growth—adding over 100,000 residents annually—creates constant pressure on housing inventory, while seasonal migration patterns from colder states influence both sales and rental markets. This complexity requires agents to understand everything from HOA restrictions in age-restricted communities to water rights in rural areas.

The market's seasonality presents unique challenges and opportunities, with "snowbird" migration creating distinct busy periods from November through March, followed by a summer slowdown when temperatures exceed 110 degrees. Additionally, the prevalence of cash buyers, investment properties, and vacation homes creates transaction patterns unlike traditional residential markets, requiring agents who understand investor motivations and can navigate complex 1031 exchanges and multi-property portfolios.

Why Businesses Need Maricopa County, Arizona Agent Contact Data

The sheer scale of Maricopa County's agent network makes targeted outreach essential for service providers, technology companies, and financial institutions seeking to capture market share. With 38,325 agents generating thousands of monthly transactions, businesses offering everything from home inspection services to mortgage products need efficient ways to reach decision-makers across this vast geographic area. Email marketing remains the most cost-effective method for reaching agents who are constantly mobile between showings and client meetings.

Furthermore, Maricopa County's diverse market segments require tailored messaging strategies—luxury specialists in Paradise Valley have different needs than first-time buyer agents in Avondale. Having comprehensive contact data allows businesses to segment their outreach based on geographic specialization, transaction volume, or market focus, dramatically improving response rates and conversion potential while building lasting relationships in one of America's most important real estate markets.
