Before relocating to the West Coast, Mark crafted award-winning advertising campaigns for municipalities along the Eastern Seaboard. His tenure as a Press Correspondent for a U.S. Senator, overseeing Housing and Urban Development and Appropriations committees, provided him with invaluable insights into high-stakes negotiations and legislative processes affecting the real estate landscape nationwide. Following this, he honed his skills in real estate finance with major banks, including Chase Manhattan, Wells Fargo, and NationsBank, where he managed retail sales and REO assignments in Orange County. This diverse background laid the foundation for his transition to real estate sales in 2003, allowing him to leverage his extensive network and expertise.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mark is actively involved in civic duties. He serves as a Director on the Newport Beach Board of REALTORS® and participates in the California Association of REALTORS® Land Use and Environmental Committee, as well as the International Real Estate Committee. His experience on Capitol Hill has led to his recruitment as a campaign advisor for various civic elections, and he has represented the City of Newport Beach before the California Coastal Commission, advocating for projects like Sunset Ridge Park.

Beyond real estate, Mark is known as "Coach Todd," having coached over 1,700 boys and girls in lacrosse throughout Southern California over the past two decades. He has held coaching positions at Chapman University, UCLA, LMU, and UCI, and was instrumental in establishing the Corona del Mar High School Boys’ Lacrosse Team, earning accolades such as the Orange County Register Lacrosse Coach of the Year in 2007. After leading the team to an Orange County Championship, he took a brief hiatus before taking charge of the Newport Harbor High School Sailors Lacrosse Program, where he continues to elevate the team's national profile and assist local families with the university recruitment process. Additionally, he serves as the Director of the Newport Beach Lacrosse Program and oversees the youth Landsharks Lacrosse team.
