Matthew Stewart, the team’s founder, brings a wealth of knowledge to the table, having grown up in a family of real estate professionals. His mother, Cindy, notably achieved the title of the top agent in Placer County in 1989.

As the founder and former President of the California Real Estate Network (C R E N), Matthew has cultivated a robust network of high-performing agents across Northern California. He consistently ranks among the top 10% of agents within the Placer and Sacramento Board of Realtors, which comprises over 6,000 members, and is recognized as a multi-million dollar producer with hundreds of homes sold. Matthew has also earned the Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) designation, a distinction achieved by fewer than 18% of Realtors nationwide.

Matthew’s career includes significant roles, such as becoming the top Realtor for Avalar Realty in the Greater Sacramento area and later serving as Team Leader at Realty World - ARP. In 2019, he obtained his Broker’s license from the DRE and joined eXp Realty. Beyond facilitating successful transactions for clients, Matthew is dedicated to mentoring and coaching fellow agents, guiding them toward greater achievements in real estate.

A strong advocate for community involvement, the Matthew Stewart Real Estate Team has participated in various initiatives, including the Chamber of Commerce Downtown Revitalization Committee. Matthew has also contributed as the Head Golf Coach at William Jessup University for five years and as an assistant boys' basketball coach, where he helped lead the team to an impressive 42-game winning streak. Additionally, he founded Artrageous, which raised nearly $40,000 over four years to support children's visual and performing arts programs (VAPA).
