A native of the metro Detroit area, Michael earned his AB in History with High Honors from Princeton University, where he concentrated on the history of architecture, urban planning, and design. His fascination with cities informs his work, keeping him well-versed in the dynamics of redevelopment and transformation within contemporary urban environments.

With extensive experience in the sale and leasing of both single-family homes and condominiums, Michael began his real estate career at Brown Harris Stevens in Manhattan, followed by a tenure at Coldwell Banker in New York's Downtown neighborhoods. His early years in real estate involved navigating transactions for lofts, co-ops, and various multi-unit residences. This foundation included significant relocation and leasing expertise, culminating in the successful sale of historic brownstones in the West Village.

Since relocating to Los Angeles in 2006, Michael has been an integral part of the then-Mossler & Doe team. He has effectively represented sellers across a diverse range of properties, from Malibu to Downtown and Burbank to Venice. Additionally, he serves as the office's commercial specialist, assisting clients in finding unique and architecturally significant commercial properties for lease, sale, and live-work arrangements.
