Darlene Herr brings over 14 years of experience from a local insurance agency, where she served as Office Manager while completing her Accounting degree. Following her tenure in insurance, she transitioned to a Senior Accountant role at a prominent non-profit organization in Clovis, CA. After three years, seeking a position closer to home, she joined Bass Lake Realty as the Accounting Manager in November 2016.

Johnny Herr has dedicated over 25 years to Sierra Telephone, currently holding a supervisory position while also pursuing a career in real estate alongside Darlene.

Both Darlene and Johnny are lifelong residents of the region; Darlene hails from Oakhurst, while Johnny is from Raymond. Their longstanding interest in real estate led them to become investors over a decade ago, prompting them to obtain their real estate licenses. Their comprehensive understanding of the mountain communities enhances the service they provide to clients. Their deep community ties foster valuable relationships with local REALTORS®, lenders, title companies, and service providers, facilitating smoother real estate transactions.

Darlene has been actively involved in the International Soroptimist of the Sierras, serving as Treasurer and coordinating a monthly community dinner for seniors, the homeless, and those seeking companionship. Johnny has supported these initiatives alongside her. Darlene also holds licenses in Property and Casualty Insurance, Life Insurance, and as a Notary Public.

The couple is deeply engaged in their church, where they lead the Children's Ministries. Married for 33 years, they have two adult sons, Joshua and Jeremy, who attended Wasuma Elementary School and Yosemite High School. Joshua and his wife Amber reside in Coarsegold, while Jeremy, a Reedley College graduate, lives in Oakhurst.

Johnny’s family history in the mountain area extends even further back, with ancestral roots in the region. Together, Darlene and Johnny are eager to share their passion for this unique mountain community with others.
