Rita holds a Bachelor's degree from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai, India, and furthered her education in design at L.S. Raheja School of Architecture. She began her professional journey as a designer, collaborating with renowned architect Farooq Faquih and later with Pendse & Pendse Associates. During this time, she had the opportunity to design homes for several prominent diamond merchants and contributed to her family's first Executive Suite Hotel in Juhu, Mumbai.
