He began his coaching career at Squaw Valley, quickly advancing to the position of Director of the Squaw Valley Freestyle Team within a year.

As the seasons transitioned from winter to summer, Robbie sought new opportunities beyond skiing. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, he joined the marketing department of a developer at Squaw Valley. His expertise soon led him to a position in real estate sales, marking the beginning of his long-standing career in the industry.
