Having relocated to the area as a student at Southern Illinois University, this agent began her professional journey as a junior high home economics teacher. After several years in that role, she discovered a passion for working with younger students, which led her to dedicate the last 18 years of her 33-year teaching career to first-grade education. Throughout her time in the classroom, she found immense fulfillment in her work.

Transitioning from education to real estate, she channeled her commitment to teaching into a new vocation, driven by a desire to guide clients through the significant process of buying or selling their homes. Her dedication to excellence remains a cornerstone of her approach in this new field.

Deeply invested in her community, she played a pivotal role in establishing a recreational soccer league that now boasts around 300 participants and has contributed to the development of the local high school soccer program. Additionally, she serves as an officer in the local garden club, an endeavor she finds particularly rewarding, with aspirations to become a Master Gardener in the near future.

Once again, she finds joy in her daily work. She is enthusiastic about showcasing the area's bike trails, parks, schools, lakes, wine trails, and vibrant communities, along with the homes that complement them.
