Prior to her career in real estate, she honed her skills in communication and insight gathering through her experience in broadcast journalism in New York City, followed by co-owning women's boutiques in Newport. Additionally, Lahna oversees her family's residential and commercial properties in NYC, providing her with a distinctive understanding of client needs.

Deeply engaged in the Newport community, Lahna is a passionate advocate for children with special needs, currently serving as the chair of the Newport Public Schools Special Education Local Advisory Committee. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys exploring Newport’s outdoor venues with her husband and two children, dining at the area's exceptional restaurants, and supporting local businesses.
