About Abby Helander

Abby Helander, a native of Sandpoint, Idaho, has deep roots in a community that prioritizes hard work and connection. Growing up in a family that owned the local Athletic Club, she immersed herself in fostering community relationships and promoting a healthy, balanced lifestyle. After graduating from Sandpoint High School in 2009, Abby pursued her studies at Cuesta Community College in San Luis Obispo, California, before returning to Boise State University to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences. This transition brought her closer to her long-term goal of giving back to her hometown.

While residing in Boise, Abby completed her Yoga and Barre Teacher Trainings, dedicating her efforts to guiding others on their holistic health journeys. In 2016, she returned to Sandpoint, where she continued her work in fitness as the General Manager of her family’s fitness center. In late 2018, the Helander family made the strategic decision to sell the Athletic Club to the YMCA, aiming to expand their service to the broader Sandpoint community.

Recognizing her passion for real estate, Abby embarked on a new career path that aligned with her commitment to community building. Her dedication and conscientious approach quickly translated into success, as she achieved over $4 million in real estate sales within her first nine months as an agent.
