About Adam Kirkham

Adam Kirkham, a second-generation Realtor®, embodies a deep-rooted commitment to the real estate profession, which he views as a family endeavor. Raised in Utah, Adam completed his education at Olympus High School before earning his degree from the University of Utah. His journey in real estate began at Kirkham Real Estate, the boutique firm founded by his mother, Carolyn Kirkham, a respected figure in the Salt Lake Valley real estate market.

Starting as a sign-post installer, Adam gained invaluable experience by undertaking various roles within the family business, including listing photographer, self-taught web designer, and marketing coordinator. This hands-on approach allowed him to develop a comprehensive understanding of the industry. In 2005, after years of immersion in the field, Adam recognized his passion for real estate and obtained his license, contributing to the growth of Kirkham Real Estate into a leading boutique office in Salt Lake City alongside his mother and brother.

Later, Adam transitioned to Summit Sotheby's International Realty, a full-service brokerage serving the entire state of Utah, where he took on the role of Managing Broker in the Salt Lake City area. His dedication and performance earned him a place in the Salt Lake Board of Realtors® Hall of Fame from 2011 to 2018, an honor bestowed upon a select few in the region. Additionally, he received the Realtor 500 Award in both 2019 and 2020. Adam's leadership skills were recognized when he served as President of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors® in 2018 and later as Treasurer of the Utah Association of Realtors® in 2021. Most notably, he was honored as the 2020 Realtor of the Year by his peers, a testament to his exceptional service and high standards in the industry.

Outside of his professional life, Adam is a devoted husband and father to a son and three daughters. He enjoys spending quality time with his family on their small farm, where they cultivate a garden. A lifelong basketball enthusiast, Adam has played the sport since childhood and is a passionate supporter of the NBA and the University of Utah teams. For the past five years, he has volunteered as a coach for the Olympus Jr High Boys Basketball team, cherishing the opportunity to share his love for the game with his children and wife, Leslee.
