Alexandra “Sandy” Hodkin, originally from Manchester, England, grew up in a vibrant household with her parents and five siblings. After completing her college education, she began her professional journey at the British Embassy in Bonn, Germany, before relocating to Washington, D.C. The allure of the city’s lifestyle and climate motivated her to pursue a Green Card.

Sandy's enthusiasm for culinary arts and hospitality led her to acquire “Chez Froggy,” a French restaurant in Crystal City, Alexandria, Virginia. This venture opened doors to collaborations with some of the most esteemed catering companies in the D.C. area, where she orchestrated a wide range of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions for Congress, local businesses, brides, charitable organizations, and homeowners, ultimately establishing herself as a million-dollar producer.

After three decades of owning properties in Capitol Hill and Chevy Chase, Sandy transitioned into real estate, motivated by her extensive experience in property management. She relocated with her husband, two children, and three dogs to Winter Garden, Florida, where she continued her catering career while nurturing a newfound passion for ceramics. Her artistic creations gained recognition and were featured in various galleries and local exhibitions across Alexandria, D.C., Winter Garden, Winter Park, and Cocoa Beach.

With her husband, a disabled Marine Corps veteran, transitioning into early retirement, Sandy obtained her Florida real estate license to enjoy greater flexibility in her schedule. They moved to Cocoa Beach, embracing the coastal lifestyle, and recently expanded their investment portfolio by purchasing riverfront property.

Sandy’s expertise encompasses managing rental properties and facilitating the buying and selling of beachside and waterfront homes.
