About Alice Greliak

Alice Greliak has been a resident of San Diego since 1980. She embarked on her professional journey in the mortgage sector after graduating Cum Laude from the University of San Diego in 2001. Shortly after completing her degree, she joined Accredited Home Lenders as a management trainee in a rigorous 12-month program. This role provided her with comprehensive exposure to the mortgage industry, enabling her to excel as a top producer, managing loan pipelines exceeding $150 million annually. Her extensive knowledge of the mortgage process equips her to offer valuable insights to clients navigating real estate transactions, particularly in short sales and foreclosures. Alice's background in the appraisal department further enhances her ability to assess home values and understand the criteria appraisers prioritize during inspections.

In 2009, Alice transitioned from the mortgage industry to real estate, believing her expertise could be more effectively utilized in this new capacity. She holds the SFR designation and is a Certified HAFA short-sale specialist, along with experience as a bank-approved REO listing agent. Alice began her tenure with Carrington Real Estate in April 2010, where she quickly distinguished herself as a top producer in San Diego County. She earned the Champions Circle Distinction from Carrington for six consecutive years (2012-2017), placing her among the top 10 agents nationwide. Additionally, she received the San Diego Realtor Association’s Gold Level Award of Excellence from 2016 to 2019 and was honored with the Five Star Customer Service Award, as featured in San Diego Magazine, from 2015 to 2019.

In 2019, Alice joined Compass, one of the leading brokerages in San Diego County. This move provided her with the resources and innovative tools necessary to further enhance her clients' experiences and achieve their real estate goals. She is recognized on Real Trends' "America's Best" list, ranking her among the top agents in the nation.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Alice enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and home decorating.

San Diego County's real estate market stands as one of California's most dynamic and valuable, encompassing everything from beachfront luxury properties in La Jolla to family-friendly suburban developments in Poway and Santee. With a median home price consistently ranking among the nation's highest, this Southern California market attracts investors, homebuyers, and real estate professionals from across the globe, creating an intensely competitive environment where local expertise proves invaluable.

The county's 29,242 total actively licensed agents represent one of the most concentrated real estate professional populations in the United States, with remarkably, all 29,242 agents maintaining email contact information—a testament to the market's tech-savvy, digitally connected nature. This substantial agent network reflects the complexity and opportunity within San Diego's diverse real estate landscape, from downtown high-rise condominiums to sprawling ranch properties in the backcountry.

Major San Diego County, California Real Estate Markets

The county's real estate activity centers around several distinct metropolitan markets, each with unique characteristics and price points. Coastal communities like Del Mar, Solana Beach, and Encinitas command premium prices for their proximity to beaches and highly rated schools, while inland cities such as Escondido, El Cajon, and Chula Vista offer more affordable options that still benefit from the county's year-round climate and economic opportunities. Downtown San Diego's urban core has experienced dramatic growth in high-density residential development, transforming formerly industrial areas into sought-after neighborhoods.

North County markets including Carlsbad, Oceanside, and Vista have emerged as particularly hot segments, attracting both young professionals and retirees seeking newer construction and master-planned communities. Meanwhile, East County areas like Santee, La Mesa, and Lemon Grove provide traditional suburban living with significantly lower entry costs, making them increasingly popular among first-time homebuyers and families seeking larger properties with outdoor space.

Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

San Diego County's real estate market exhibits remarkable geographic complexity, with microclimates, school district boundaries, and proximity to employment centers creating dramatically different property values within short distances. A surprising trend has been the rise of luxury markets in previously overlooked areas—neighborhoods in National City and Spring Valley have seen substantial appreciation as buyers seek alternatives to traditionally expensive coastal areas, while maintaining reasonable commutes to major employment hubs.

The market's seasonal patterns differ significantly from many California regions, with activity remaining relatively steady year-round due to the consistent climate and steady influx of military relocations, technology workers, and retirees. However, inventory levels fluctuate dramatically between coastal and inland areas, with beachfront properties maintaining extremely low supply levels while inland markets experience more typical seasonal variations in available homes.

Why Businesses Need San Diego County, California Agent Contact Data

Mortgage lenders, title companies, and real estate service providers require direct access to San Diego's extensive agent network to capture market share in this high-value market. With average transaction values significantly above national norms, establishing relationships with even a small percentage of the county's 29,242 agents can generate substantial business volume, making comprehensive agent contact databases essential for competitive positioning.

Insurance companies, home improvement contractors, and financial services firms benefit enormously from direct agent relationships, as these professionals influence client decisions across multiple high-value services. The fact that all active agents maintain email addresses enables efficient digital marketing campaigns and relationship-building efforts that can quickly scale across this large, geographically diverse professional network.
