Altie commenced his residential real estate journey in New York City in 1996 with The Corcoran Group. Throughout his tenure at Corcoran, he consistently earned accolades, including Broker of the Month honors, membership in the Million Dollar Club, and a position among the Top Ten brokers out of over 600. His expertise and professionalism led to his election to the Corcoran Advisory Council, where he contributed strategic insights to the firm.

In 2002, following the acquisition of The Corcoran Group by NRT, Altie made the decision to relocate to the West Coast to raise his family, despite holding the title of Vice President at the time.
