She interviewed and produced pieces on European Union policy U S Presidential Elections and humanitarians like Bishop Desmond Tutu She also covered various human interest stories such as families adopting children with HIV in Europe and the North Korean nuclear talks in Asia

Amy’s career took a new direction allowing her to spend time in the world of celebrities and rock stars as a producer for VH1 and E! News in New York City and LA This gave her a wide variety of experience dealing with strong personalities and learning to cope with stressful and demanding situations One of those defining career moments was helping to produce VH1’s “The Concert for New York City” after the 9/11 attacks
