Amy is a dedicated real estate professional with deep roots in Haywood County, where her family has resided since before the Civil War. Although she has lived in various locations, including Valle Crucis, NC, Panama City Beach, and Vero Beach, Florida, her heart has always drawn her back to the mountains of Western North Carolina. She graduated with honors from Western Carolina University in 1997.

Following her academic achievements, Amy took on a significant role as the 30th Judicial District Supervisor for Project Challenge North Carolina, an organization focused on empowering adjudicated youth through community service. Additionally, she served as the Program Director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Western North Carolina, further demonstrating her commitment to community service.

Amy's passion for real estate led her to transition into this field full-time in 2004. She finds fulfillment in helping clients navigate the complexities of buying and selling homes and land, viewing her role as an extension of her previous work in human services. She emphasizes the importance of listening to her clients' needs and facilitating their dreams of homeownership.

In 2002, Amy married her husband, Tarver, and together they enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, skiing, and rock climbing. She has a profound appreciation for mountain and traditional music and actively engages with local musicians, attending performances and jam sessions. As a co-founder of PlottFest, she supports fundraising efforts for Head Start.

Amy is committed to giving back to her community and is involved with various service organizations through the Haywood County Volunteer Center and the Board of Realtors. In September 2009, she and Tarver welcomed their son, Henry, and they currently reside on a working mini-farm in the Fines Creek community.
