Andrea J Tyler was born and raised in Grants Pass Oregon and attended University of Oregon for her undergraduate degree in Journalism However she switched mid course and finished her undergraduate studies at Arcadia University in Pennsylvania with a major in mathematics and minor in secondary education She moved to New Orleans in August 2007 from Pennsylvania to teach high school mathematics
