A lifelong resident of Merced, Andrew left briefly to pursue his education in San Diego. However, his commitment to Merced remained steadfast, and upon returning, he met his wife, Lexi. Their engagement story reflects Andrew's thoughtful nature; he orchestrated a memorable proposal during a hot air balloon ride in Napa, complete with a surprise banner that read, “Will you marry me?” This moment not only highlights his creativity but also his dedication to making special moments unforgettable.

Andrew is deeply invested in the growth of the Merced community. He has served multiple terms on the Greater Merced Chamber of Commerce, earning the Ambassador of the Year award in 2017. Currently, he is a board member of the Merced Boosters, a prominent private economic development organization. His commitment to service extends to volunteering with Love INC and the Merced Rescue Mission.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Andrew prioritizes quality time with Lexi and their two dogs, Ryker and Daisy. The couple enjoys traveling, spending weekends at their family cabin, and engaging in various recreational activities, including golfing, snowboarding, wake surfing, and reading personal development literature. He also has a passion for flying remote-controlled airplanes.
