About Angela Riniker

PERSONAL
I was so fortunate to be born in a small town in Wisconsin I learned the value of a strong work ethic and the importance of being neighborly to everyone you meet I have carried those lessons with me throughout my life and they are truly what define me as a person I am an incredibly passionate person and throw all of myself into anything it is that I am doing at the moment This along with my great compassion for others is really what makes me successful in life – especially when I am helping others reach their goals

My work ethic afforded me the opportunity to graduate from the UW-LaCrosse with degrees in Business Administration Spanish and International Business
It also fueled my life’s passion – Track and Field ultimately earning me the title of NCAA D-III 400 Meter Hurdles National Champion in 1995 while at UW-LaCrosse It earned me the opportunity to move to Georgia to train with the UGA Bulldogs Track Team for the 1996 Olympic Trials While injury sealed my fate and I had to hang up my spikes my work ethic earned me a job as the Concessions Coordinator for the 1996 Olympic Soccer and Gymnastics Stadiums and then a long career with Nike in Miami and Minneapolis From there I worked in the Entertainment Packaging Industry and ultimately started my career in Real Estate in 2005

I have lived in Woodbury MN for 20 years I am passionate about my family my nieces and nephews animals mentoring and coaching Track and Field at Oakland Middle School and sports in general I have two rescued kittens Ajax and Xena who keep me laughing every day

REAL ESTATE BACKGROUND
I started my real estate career in 2005 with Coldwell Banker where I earned many awards over the course of the four years I was there I got into real estate right when the market crashed and ultimately left to give corporate American one more try It just wasn’t as fulfilling so I started my own home management and cleaning company I did this for 5 1/2 years until I met Andrew Jurgens It was fate knocking on my door with the opportunity to learn from one of the best in the business I have been back in the game for almost two years and I feel like I am “home” again

WORKING WITH ME
I will start by sharing that my first experience of buying a home was unimpressive The agent was out for the commission It wasn’t until I got into real estate that I realized how it should be He should have explained the whole process to me he should have negotiated for me he should have counseled me He should have looked out for me not his wallet I actually owe him a debt of gratitude because he is what makes me the agent I am today He is what drives me to commit myself 100% to the people I help to take the time to get to know people and really listen He is what drives me to ensure my clients have all the information they need to understand the process and make the best decision for themselves and their families Sure the commission is great but that’s not why I do what I do I do it because I love it I love people and I love seeing people happy This is YOUR experience My goal is to have every client leave their experience with me saying “I am going to refer you to everyone I know!” That is my challenge…and I choose to accept it every time! It is what drives me every day When you have me on your team I’ve got your back

While I have a fierce work ethic and am very strong-willed I am also one of the most empathic genuine and laid back people you will meet I’m not here to just sell you a home or sell your home I am here to make sure those things happen on your terms your timeline in the smoothest possible way I guess the best way I can describe how I work is that I treat everyone the same way I would want to be treated the same way I would want someone to treat my Mom (the best Mom in the world)

Dakota County, Minnesota represents one of the Twin Cities metro area's most dynamic and diverse real estate markets, stretching from established riverfront communities to rapidly growing suburban developments. With 1,569 actively licensed real estate agents serving the region, this market demonstrates remarkable depth and professional engagement, reflecting the county's position as Minnesota's third most populous county and a key economic driver in the seven-county metropolitan area.

The county's real estate landscape spans everything from historic Mississippi River towns like Hastings and South St. Paul to master-planned communities in Apple Valley and Lakeville, creating unique opportunities and challenges that require deep local expertise. What makes Dakota County particularly intriguing is its blend of urban renewal projects, suburban expansion, and rural preservation areas, all within a single county boundary that serves over 420,000 residents.

Major Dakota County, Minnesota Real Estate Markets

The southern suburbs dominate much of Dakota County's residential activity, with cities like Burnsville, Eagan, and Apple Valley representing some of the most sought-after family communities in the entire Twin Cities region. Lakeville has emerged as a particular hotspot, with new construction and luxury developments attracting buyers seeking modern amenities while maintaining reasonable commute times to downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul. Meanwhile, Rosemount and Farmington are experiencing significant growth as buyers seek more affordable options with excellent school districts.

The northern tier of Dakota County tells a different story, with established communities like West St. Paul, Mendota Heights, and Inver Grove Heights offering mature neighborhoods with unique character. These areas often feature mid-century homes on larger lots, appealing to buyers seeking renovation opportunities or established landscaping. The riverfront communities of Lilydale and Mendota provide some of the county's most distinctive properties, while South St. Paul continues its transformation from industrial hub to mixed-use community.

Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

Dakota County's real estate market operates across multiple price points and property types simultaneously, creating complexity that rewards specialized knowledge. The county encompasses everything from luxury estates in Sunfish Lake to starter homes in South St. Paul, with agricultural properties and hobby farms scattered throughout the rural southern sections. This diversity means market conditions can vary significantly within just a few miles, with inventory levels, price appreciation rates, and buyer demographics shifting dramatically between communities.

Transportation infrastructure plays a crucial role in shaping property values and market activity throughout Dakota County. Proximity to major highways like I-35E, Highway 52, and I-494 significantly impacts desirability, while the expansion of transit options continues to influence development patterns. The county's numerous lakes, parks, and trail systems add another layer of complexity, as properties near recreational amenities often command premiums and experience different seasonal market patterns than other areas.
