Additionally, she co-founded Designer Showcase Properties, which specialized in staging homes to facilitate quicker sales for real estate agents.

Originally from England, Anita relocated to California with her family in 1979 and has called La Jolla home for over 25 years. She and her husband, Michael, the CFO of Catholic Charities, are proud parents of two sons who graduated from La Jolla High School and are currently studying at Indiana University. Both Anita and Michael are dedicated to community service, actively supporting organizations such as Voices for Children and the La Jolla Playhouse. Anita is also a member of the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club and has a passion for playing pickleball.
