Barbara Merrill has been a frequent visitor to the desert since the early 1980s, drawn by its unique lifestyle, climate, and welcoming community. In 2000, she purchased a home in Indian Ridge Country Club as a weekend getaway, but her affection for the area soon led her to make it her permanent residence. Barbara has become deeply involved in the local community, contributing her time and expertise to various charitable organizations, including Gilda’s Club and the Desert Cancer Foundation. Additionally, she has participated in several committees within Indian Ridge, such as the architectural landscape and communication committees, served as a Director on the HOA Board, and founded and edited the Ridge News, an electronic newsletter for the community's 1,068 residents.

Barbara holds a Master’s Degree from Cal Poly, with credentials in mathematics and administration. Her professional journey began as an algebra teacher, but her enduring passion for real estate has shaped her career. Over the years, she has actively engaged in buying, selling, remodeling, renting, and managing her own investment properties.

Describing herself as detail-oriented and service-driven, Barbara takes pride in her commitment to her clients.
