Barbie Parker earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1985. Following her time as a cheerleader, where she excelled for three years and served as head cheerleader, she founded and operated what became the nation's longest-running cheer gym. Through this venture, she successfully trained and mentored thousands of young athletes in her community.

Barbie later returned to the University of Oklahoma as the head cheerleading coach and interim spirit coordinator, further solidifying her commitment to fostering talent and teamwork.
