About Billy Jones

Bill Jones, a fourth-generation Floridian, has cultivated a deep-rooted passion for real estate. His early years were spent commercial fishing in the picturesque Charlotte Harbor alongside his father, uncles, and grandfather. At the age of 17, with the onset of the Gulf War, Bill made the decision to serve his country as a United States Marine. During his tenure, he was assigned to the 2nd Combat Engineering Battalion at Camp Lejeune, where he served as a Demolition Instructor.

Upon completing his military service, Bill returned home to support his mother, who was managing her real estate office following the loss of her husband. Initially, he took on the role of overseeing the maintenance department at Barnes and Phillips Real Estate's Property Management Division. Encouraged by his mother, Bill pursued real estate courses and obtained his license.

Recognizing the broader opportunities within the real estate sector, Bill transitioned from property management to sales, establishing the Sales Department at Barnes and Phillips Real Estate. This initiative allowed the firm to provide comprehensive services, encompassing property management, rentals, and sales. Tragically, shortly after launching the sales division, Bill's mother passed away unexpectedly. In honor of her legacy and passion for real estate, he furthered his education to become a licensed Real Estate Broker.

Today, Barnes and Phillips Real Estate proudly offers a full spectrum of real estate services. Outside of his professional pursuits, Bill enjoys spending time fishing, hunting with family, and welding in his workshop.
