Bobby, a graduate of Tascosa High School in Amarillo, began his career in the United States Navy, where he served as a Surface Rescue Swimmer. This role equipped him with the skills to navigate challenging situations. While stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, Bobby collaborated with a real estate investor, gaining valuable insights into the market and the intricacies of preparing homes for sale. It was during this formative period that he recognized his enduring commitment to the real estate industry.

After completing his military service, Bobby graduated with honors from Wayland Baptist University and returned to Amarillo to join the Department of Public Safety. Following the events of September 11, 2001, Bobby felt a renewed sense of duty and joined a specialized military investigative team, contributing to efforts against insurgent networks in Afghanistan.
