About Brad Morton

Raised in Bloomfield Hills, a suburb of Detroit, this real estate professional graduated from Lahser High School before pursuing a degree in Communications at Michigan State University.

After completing her studies, she embarked on a journey across the United States, ultimately finding her home in San Diego, California. For nearly a decade, she resided in La Jolla, before returning to the Detroit area, where she settled in Birmingham.

An enthusiastic skier, golfer, and lover of the outdoors, she has cherished family vacations in Northern Michigan, particularly in the Boyne City area. This community holds a special place in her heart, and she has continued the tradition by introducing her own children to the joys of Boyne Mountain Resort.

In 2020, she made the decision to establish Boyne City as her permanent residence. Currently, she works part-time at Boyne Mountain as a ski host while also serving as a dedicated real estate professional with Coldwell Banker Schmidt in Downtown Boyne City. After three years in The Reserve at Boyne Mountain, she and her dogs recently relocated closer to town, now enjoying the scenic shores of Lake Charlevoix.

She is committed to assisting clients with all their real estate needs, whether they are seeking a special retreat in Northern Michigan or are already captivated by the area and looking for their new home.

Charlevoix County, Michigan represents one of the most distinctive real estate markets in the Great Lakes region, where pristine lakefront properties meet charming resort communities along Lake Michigan's eastern shore. This scenic county encompasses popular destinations like Charlevoix, Petoskey, Boyne City, and East Jordan, creating a diverse market that serves both year-round residents and seasonal property owners drawn to the area's natural beauty and recreational opportunities.

The county's real estate landscape is supported by a dedicated network of 259 total actively licensed agents, all of whom maintain email contact information, reflecting the market's professional organization and digital connectivity. This level of agent engagement speaks to the area's robust property activity, driven by strong demand for waterfront homes, vacation properties, and the growing trend of remote workers seeking scenic retreats in Northern Michigan.

Major Charlevoix County, Michigan Real Estate Markets

Charlevoix serves as the county's crown jewel, featuring the famous Charlevoix the Beautiful downtown district and exclusive Round Lake properties that command premium prices. Petoskey anchors the southern portion with its historic Gaslight District and proximity to world-class skiing at Boyne Mountain, while Boyne City offers a more intimate lakefront experience on Lake Charlevoix with growing appeal among families and retirees seeking small-town charm.

The rural townships and smaller communities like East Jordan and Ellsworth provide surprising market depth, offering everything from affordable starter homes to expansive agricultural properties. These areas have experienced unexpected growth as buyers discover value opportunities beyond the premium lakefront markets, creating diverse price points that attract investors and first-time buyers alongside luxury purchasers.

Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

Charlevoix County's real estate market operates on distinct seasonal rhythms, with peak activity occurring during summer months when vacation property demand surges and lakefront inventory moves quickly. Winter months reveal a more resilient year-round market than many expect, driven by local employment from healthcare, tourism services, and the surprising number of remote professionals who have relocated permanently to the area.

The county's geographic complexity spans from Lake Michigan shoreline to inland lakes, forests, and rolling farmland, creating multiple micro-markets with vastly different price dynamics. Waterfront properties on Lake Michigan or Lake Charlevoix operate in an entirely different sphere from inland rural properties, yet both segments show consistent appreciation driven by limited inventory and sustained demand from buyers seeking Northern Michigan's lifestyle advantages.

Why Businesses Need Charlevoix County, Michigan Agent Contact Data

Real estate service providers, from mortgage lenders to home inspection companies, benefit enormously from direct access to Charlevoix County's 259 licensed agents who handle transactions across diverse property types and price ranges. The seasonal nature of this market means timing is crucial for service providers, and having comprehensive agent contact information allows businesses to coordinate effectively during peak activity periods when quick response times can make or break deals.

Property technology companies, insurance providers, and investment firms find particular value in this agent network data, as Charlevoix County represents a sophisticated market where agents regularly handle complex lakefront transactions, seasonal rental properties, and high-value vacation homes that require specialized expertise and services.
