About Bradley Landman

Brad Landman has deep roots in the community, having grown up in the last residential home on 28th Street, adjacent to his family's business, Landman Sport Center. His early experiences at the "boat store" and countless hours spent at the family cottage on Gun Lake fostered a lifelong passion for boating, fishing, and the great outdoors.

After earning his degree from Western Michigan University, Brad ventured to Colorado to explore another passion: brewing beer. For two decades, he and his wife, Stacey, called Denver home, where Brad advanced through various roles in the brewing industry, ultimately achieving the title of Brewmaster. His dedication to the craft earned him seven medals at the prestigious Great American Beer Festival, allowing him to fully immerse himself in the world of brewing.

In November 2021, the allure of lake life became irresistible, prompting the Landmans to trade their Denver bungalow for a permanent residence on Gun Lake. With generations of family history on the lake, Brad is committed to helping clients find their ideal homes across Michigan's beautiful lakes.

In addition to his real estate career, Brad serves as an adjunct professor in Brewing at Grand Rapids Community College. When he's not assisting clients, he enjoys spending time on their pontoon boat with Stacey and their dog, Lucy.

Brad’s collaborative spirit, honed in the craft brewing industry, informs his approach to real estate. He believes in the power of teamwork and is passionate about sharing the joys of lake life and homeownership with his clients. He is proud to be part of the esteemed Coldwell Banker Schmidt family.

Allegan County, Michigan presents a fascinating real estate landscape that blends rural charm with growing suburban development, creating unique opportunities across its diverse communities. With 457 total actively licensed agents serving the region, the market maintains a robust professional infrastructure that supports everything from lakefront properties along Lake Michigan to agricultural land and small-town residential developments. What makes this market particularly intriguing is how it bridges the gap between the more urbanized areas of West Michigan and the state's agricultural heartland.

The county's real estate dynamics are shaped by its proximity to major employment centers like Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids, while maintaining its own distinct character through communities like Allegan, Otsego, and Plainwell. The presence of 457 agents with email addresses indicates a tech-savvy professional community that's well-equipped to handle modern real estate transactions, despite the county's more traditional rural reputation.

Major Allegan County, Michigan Real Estate Markets

The county's largest communities drive much of the residential activity, with Allegan serving as the county seat and a hub for government-related real estate needs. Otsego has emerged as a particularly attractive market for families seeking small-town living with reasonable commutes to larger cities, while Plainwell offers a mix of historic charm and modern amenities. The Lake Michigan shoreline communities command premium prices for seasonal and year-round properties, creating a distinct luxury segment within the broader market.

Smaller communities like Wayland, Martin, and Hopkins contribute to the market's diversity by offering more affordable entry points for first-time buyers and investors. The agricultural areas between these population centers present opportunities for land development, hobby farms, and rural residential properties that appeal to buyers seeking space and privacy. This geographic spread requires agents to understand vastly different property types and buyer motivations within a single county.

Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

Allegan County's real estate market operates with surprising complexity despite its relatively rural character. Seasonal fluctuations are more pronounced here than in urban markets, with lakefront properties seeing intense summer activity while agricultural properties often transact during specific farming cycles. The county's agents must navigate zoning variations that range from agricultural and recreational to residential and light commercial, requiring specialized knowledge across multiple property categories.

Transportation infrastructure plays a crucial role in property values, with proximity to US-131 and other major routes significantly impacting desirability and pricing. The market has shown resilience through economic cycles, partly due to its diversified base of agricultural, recreational, and commuter-oriented properties. Recent trends indicate growing interest from remote workers seeking affordable alternatives to higher-priced metro markets while maintaining reasonable access to urban amenities.

Why Businesses Need Allegan County, Michigan Agent Contact Data

The complete email accessibility of all 457 licensed agents creates exceptional opportunities for service providers, lenders, and real estate technology companies to efficiently reach this market's entire professional community. Unlike fragmented urban markets where agent contact information may be scattered across multiple brokerages and platforms, Allegan County's manageable size and complete digital connectivity enable targeted marketing campaigns that can achieve near-total market penetration.

Businesses offering specialized services like agricultural property appraisal, lake property insurance, or rural internet solutions can leverage this comprehensive contact database to educate agents about niche products that align perfectly with the county's unique property types. The relatively stable agent population means relationship-building investments tend to pay long-term dividends, making this market particularly valuable for companies seeking to establish strong regional partnerships rather than pursuing quick transactional relationships.
