About Brett Ellis

Brett is a seasoned real estate professional with a strong academic foundation in finance. He attended Illinois State University from 1983 to 1988, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, complemented by a minor in Business Administration. His studies encompassed a range of subjects, including corporate finance, world markets law, advanced financial theory, short-term capital management, economics, accounting, and real estate.

In 1988, Brett embarked on his real estate career by partnering with his mother, Sande Ellis, to establish The Ellis Team. Under their leadership, the team has consistently closed over 400 transactions annually, earning recognition as the top residential real estate sales team in Lee County, Florida. The Ellis Team also ranks among the top 100 agents nationwide and is recognized globally, placing within the top 100 out of over 118,000 agents across 63 countries.
