A Bay Area native, Talbot hails from Lafayette, California, and spent her childhood vacationing in both North and South Lake Tahoe. In 1991, she relocated to North Lake Tahoe for a summer with friends from St. Mary's College, where she discovered her passion for the region's natural beauty and recreational opportunities. After earning her bachelor's degree in communications, Talbot traveled extensively throughout Europe before returning to North Lake Tahoe and Truckee, where she has resided for over 25 years. During this time, she also obtained a master's degree in journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno.

With more than 25 years of experience in client-focused marketing, Talbot brings a high standard of service to her real estate practice. She has specialized in real estate marketing and has led corporate initiatives for notable organizations such as Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty, Chase International, and the Town of Truckee. Additionally, she served as the director of marketing for the Tahoe Donner Association for over four years. Her extensive expertise in destination promotion for real estate, lifestyle, and luxury brands equips her with valuable insights into the North Lake Tahoe and Truckee markets. Talbot's commitment to customer service, combined with her in-depth knowledge of the area, positions her as a strong advocate for her clients throughout the buying and selling process.

Talbot lives in Truckee with her two daughters, Sophia and Katarina, and her fiancé, Jim. The family embraces the mountain lifestyle, engaging in activities such as skiing, hiking, dirt biking, golfing, and camping, while also contributing to various community volunteer efforts.

An active member of the Rotary Club of Truckee for 16 years, Talbot served as president in 2010. She is currently on the board of directors for the Truckee Tahoe Community Theater and, in its 14th year, she owns and operates the Downtown Truckee Wine Walk & Shop events.
