About Caleb Coaplen

Born in Louisville, Kentucky, this real estate professional was raised by adventurous parents who fostered a love for the outdoors. Family trips frequently took them to the scenic landscapes of Western North Carolina. He began his higher education at Montana State University in Bozeman before ultimately earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Louisville.

During his college years, he spent several summers working at Camp Mondamin in Tuxedo, North Carolina, a camp he had attended as a child. It was there that he met his future wife. After relocating to Asheville in 2001, he dedicated himself to his passion for whitewater kayaking, which opened doors to various roles in the Outdoor Sports Industry, including design and sales.

His career path later shifted to the furniture sector, where he gained experience in sales and delivery. In pursuit of new opportunities, he obtained his real estate license in 2009, entering the market during a challenging period. This experience compelled him to gain a comprehensive understanding of the real estate landscape, revealing both its challenges and rewards.

Now a devoted husband and father of two young boys, he strives to instill in them the same adventurous spirit he cherished in his youth. The family enjoys an active lifestyle, engaging in hiking, biking, paddling, and skiing.
