Candy, a lifelong resident of a local small county, appreciates the unique advantages of living in this vibrant area, characterized by its cultural diversity and a wide array of entertainment options. Coming from a family of educators, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Georgia Southern University, followed by a Master’s Degree in Education from Augusta University. Over nearly a decade, Candy taught in various cities across Georgia, adapting to her husband’s career and educational pursuits, with plans to return home once his goals were achieved.

In 1999, Candy and her family returned to the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) to raise their four children close to their extended family. Two of her daughters are graduates of Greenbrier High School, while her two sons currently attend schools in Columbia County. Passionate about community involvement, Candy dedicates her time to volunteering at local schools and enjoys fishing whenever she can. Her friends and family affectionately refer to her as "candygramfishwhisper."

With her children now older, Candy has transitioned into the real estate field, inspired by her father's legacy in the profession. She is eager to leverage her skills in communication, planning, and negotiation—honed during her teaching career—to assist both current and prospective homeowners in the CSRA.
