About Carrie Wolke

Carrie has been a dedicated real estate professional since 2004, transitioning from a successful career in retail management. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel Design & Marketing from Kansas State University. After gaining experience at two other firms, Carrie joined Keller Williams Hometown Partners LLC in October 2011, where she feels she has truly found her niche in real estate.

A native of Andover, Carrie graduated from Andover High School and has deep roots in the community, where her parents have celebrated over 40 years of marriage. In 2014, she and her husband, Ryan, welcomed their first son, Jude, who quickly became the center of attention, much to the chagrin of their Yorkshire terrier, Gabbers. The family expanded in 2016 with the arrival of their second son, Hudson.

Outside of her family commitments, Carrie is passionate about golf, fitness, and community service. She actively participates in the Andover Chamber of Commerce and supports various local initiatives. A devoted fan of the Kansas State University Wildcats, she particularly enjoys Wildcat Saturdays.

Carrie's enthusiasm and energy are evident in her interactions with clients, whether she is assisting buyers and sellers or engaging in community activities. She has held leadership roles, including past President of the Wichita Area Panhellenic Society and is a proud Chi Omega alumna. Her philanthropic efforts include contributions to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Buddy Walk, Race for the Cure, Komen Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, and Bowl for Kids' Sake.

In her professional capacity, Carrie is also active with the Realtors of South Central Kansas (RSCK), having served on the Realtor Political Action Committee (RPAC) and Governmental Affairs, and is currently a member of the LEAD Academy. Committed to continuous learning, she has earned her Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) designation.

Carrie is dedicated to finding innovative ways to serve her clients, embodying her philosophy of "Making Dreams Real Estate" with the mantra, "Make It Happen!"

Major Johnson County, Kansas Real Estate Markets

The county's real estate activity centers around several key municipalities, with Overland Park leading as the largest city and a major economic hub featuring everything from luxury estates to modern townhomes. Olathe has emerged as a fast-growing family destination, while Leawood commands premium prices for its exclusive neighborhoods and top-rated school districts. Shawnee and Lenexa round out the major markets, each offering distinct character from historic charm to master-planned communities.

Prairie Village and Mission represent the county's more compact, walkable communities that attract professionals seeking shorter commutes to Kansas City, while cities like Gardner and Spring Hill capture the growing demand for newer construction and larger lot sizes. This geographic diversity means agents often specialize in specific municipalities, developing deep knowledge of local market nuances, zoning regulations, and community amenities that drive buyer decisions.

Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

Johnson County's real estate market operates with surprising complexity despite its suburban character, featuring multiple school district boundaries that significantly impact property values and buyer behavior. The county experiences notable seasonal fluctuations, with spring markets often seeing bidding wars for homes in top school districts, while luxury properties in areas like Mission Hills maintain steady activity year-round due to executive relocations and high-net-worth buyers.

New construction continues reshaping parts of the market, particularly in southern Johnson County communities, while established neighborhoods closer to the Kansas border focus on renovation and infill development. Agent specialization has become increasingly important as buyers navigate everything from historic Craftsman homes in older suburbs to contemporary builds in newer developments, each requiring different expertise in pricing, inspection issues, and market positioning.
